Florida advertising and brokerage information

Florida real estate advertising must make clear that the public is dealing with a real estate licensee, include the brokerage firm’s licensed name, use the licensee’s last name as registered when a personal name appears, and avoid false, deceptive, or misleading claims. For internet advertising, the brokerage name must be adjacent to or immediately above or below the contact information.

On internet advertisements, the brokerage’s licensed name belongs adjacent to or immediately above or below the point-of-contact information. Florida Rule 61J2-10.025 and the brokerage’s advertising standards govern real estate advertisements.
